PUBLIC NOTICE

Citizens of Essex County are invited to submit applications for reprogrammed Community Development Block Grant funds, which are available through the Essex County Division of Housing and Community Development.  The Division will reprogram $1,400,000 in CDBG funds recaptured from various projects.  Consideration will be given to whether any new activities are shovel ready and can be completed promptly.

Anyone wishing an application may visit or write to the Essex County Division of Housing and Community Development, 20 Crestmont Road, Verona, NJ 07044 or call at (973) 655-0200.

All applications are due at the Division office prior to the close of business, Thursday, September 1, 2011.  Upon review and approval, the County will prepare an amendment to its Action Plans for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
